Gina Mckay

I was drawn to Reiki in 1998 due to a health issue I was dealing with at the time. I completed my First Degree Reiki training in May 1998 and I knew that this was the path I was meant to be on. A friend noticed instantly a change in me, like a calmness that had just washed over me and I felt lighter and brighter, in a way like the light within was turned up!

Three months later I progressed to Reiki 2nd Degree as I wanted to learn more and use the transformational tools for myself, family and friends. Reiki is a wonderful tool for self development on all levels.

The year 2000 I found myself attending my Reiki Master Practitioner level.

Five years later I decided that it was time to pass the knowledge, experiences and love and passion of Reiki I have on to other people and that’s when I undertook my Reiki Teacher Training. I trained in the Traditional Usui System of Natural Healing as an apprentice with my Reiki Master Teacher Pat Meyrick. 15 months later  I qualified and I fully commit Reiki to my life everyday.

I honour the traditional teaching of the Usui System of Natural Healing as a simple, yet powerful tool for helping myself and others to achieve and recognise their full potential in all aspects of their lives.

My classes are small and friendly to ensure all students are guaranteed individual attention and support together with high quality training.

I qualified in Classical Reflexology in 2003 with the Academy of Aromatherapy and Massage Scotland and I am a member of the Scottish Institute of Reflexology.
